Illustration with a Social Conscience

I have done two illustrations. One a poster and the other a flier. They are both advertising a concert/rally to fight racism.

The poster is a simple design, influenced by the Jamaican reggae culture. Reggae is a genre of music that began it's roots in black Jamaican culture, and along with it's often peaceful discourse is a perfect reference for an anti-racism poster. It also incorporates the Black power fist.

The second illustration is a flier, which is influenced by 1970's/80's poster art.
